Braňo Hochel will remain in our memory

Braňo Hochel was a long-time organizer of the Summer School of Translation, editor in chief of the literary magazine Revue of Current Culture (Revue aktuálnej kultúry – RAK), one of the founders of the Slovak Translatology Studies - a significant representative of the Popovič School, associate professor at the Comenius University in Bratislava Slovakia and at last, he was a poet and novelist whose talent shone with a long overlooked beauty and freshness especially in the last years.

The publishing house Ars Poetica released two of his poetry collections: Mr Perplex and his students (Mr Perplex a jeho žiaci, 2009) and Strings (Struny, 2012).

Let us honour him in memory.
